FIB Visiona’s Job Fair is the main annual event organised by the association.
The aim of this event is to connect companies and students from the different degrees and masters of the School with dozens of organisations and pioneer companies from the IT public and private sector.
Through this event, FIB Visiona expects to be the platform from which professional careers take off. It is addressed to students who wish to take their first steps in the labour market as well as to those that look for new horizons and work experiences.
What happens during the Job Fair
Throughout the day, companies will be able to look for the FIBer talent that will carry out the projects and challenges suggested. On that day, every company sets up a stand where students can find out about different cooperation agreements, TFG or work contracts offered by the companies.
Companies may have its own room in the Fair to perform interviews with students previously shortlisted in order to get to know their staff-to-be.
During the fair, not only companies make contact with students but also they get to know the foundations of any university, such as professors and the offices of the dean and the rector of the UPC.
Familiarisation strengthens during a get-together lunch that FIB Visiona organises. Companies will have the opportunity to get to know one another as well as the organising committee of the event.
