Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering
The bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering splits into two big blocks. The first one includes the two first academic years, and students will get the basic knowledge of the Informatics Engineering with the FIB hallmark.
The second block will allow the student to shape their studies in their own way: they will be able to choose the specialisation and the optional subjects of their interest, to widen their studies going abroad, and to participate in a work placement. The bachelor’s thesis, supported by professors, completes the studies and demonstrates the knowledge acquisition throughout the university career.

Following the international curriculums, the bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering determines 5 specialisations:
Computing
Students will acquire the scientific and technical knowledge needed to design efficient and reliable solutions to deal with computing challenges in artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, human-machine interaction, virtual reality, and other fascinating fields.
Information Systems
The learning achieved occurs thanks to the connection between the technical and the management areas with the aim of improving companies and organisations processes when using information systems in order to be more efficient, innovative and competitive.
Information Technologies
Students will get the expertise to design and install computing infrastructure, networks and essential web applications.
Computer Engineering
Students will learn to design and develop computers and digital devices that incorporate hardware, software and communications, such as supercomputers, mobile phones, medical equipment, and image processing systems.
Software Engineering
Students will master building reliable and efficient software systems that meet users and companies’ needs. You will learn how to manage resources, users and the different phases of the projects, from the definition of customer’s requirements to the moment of the display and launching of the project.
